Plays in the Pub

We run an occasional series of informal play readings. These are not performances - we just enjoy reading through a good play together. There is no charge and you do not even need to be a member of Lyminge Dramatic Society.  Plays read so far include "Entertaining Mr Sloane" (Joe Orton), "All My Sons" (Arthur Miller), "Arcadia", "The Real Thing" (Tom Stoppard) and "Under Milk Wood" (Dylan Thomas).

The date for the next Plays in the Pub is Wednesday 16th January 2019. This will be in the back room at The Coach and Horses in Lyminge.

Please let me know if you are interested in attending david@vales.me.uk.

We'll Meet Again

This play, written by Ingrid Goodchild and directed by Barbara Harris was staged by members of LDS at Lyminge Library (which was originally the railway station). It told a story of wartime Lyminge and was very enthusiastically received. It was part of the Lyminge Festival.

If you would like to join LDS contact Sue Hope at membership@lymingedramaticsociety.co.uk; we would welcome all offers of help from acting or directing to helping backstage.
